| Greetings Irish Fans! Football season - and the beginning of the Brian Kelly era - is only days away! Because of the tremendous excitement about the upcoming Irish season (and the great numbers we had coming out to watch games last year - thank you all again!) we would like to announce that this year there will be three official Game Watch locations for Irish fans in the NDCLA area. The best way to enjoy The Fighting Irish when you can't be at the Stadium is to head to an ND Game Watch. A big, excited crowd makes for a really fun game day afternoon. Big crowds also make it possible to keep offering the convenience of multiple game watch locations. So come on out and cheer on the Irish, support our game watch partners, and have a great time relaxing (and celebrating!) with your fellow Notre Dame fans! See you at one of our 3 great locations this fall. And Go Irish! Location #1 - South Bay & Beaches Café Boogaloo 1238 Hermosa Avenue Hermosa Beach , CA The bar is committed to ND Football with multiple hi-def flat screens and a killer sound system dedicated to the Irish. There are also some fantastic food and drink specials for Irish fans: $3 shots of Jameson's Irish Whiskey $4 pints of Guinness $4 well or call drinks $5 Irish Car Bombs $5 glasses of house wine $10 pitchers of Bud Light and also 2 for 1 $5 pints of Bud Light Plus Happy Hour pricing throughout the game on all food items (the menu is fantastic as those who went last year can attest to). Reserved seating for Irish fans - let's fill it up! There is a parking structure directly across the street and a few other lots in the area as well as street parking - but come early as it can fill up, especially on beautiful beach days. This year we're at the appropriately named Dillon's Irish Pub, located in the heart of Hollywood at the corner of the historic Hollywood and Vine. We'll have a reserved section with a big screen, several smaller screens and a private bar. Dillon's is a great football watching location with a friendly atmosphere, over 30 beers on tap and quality "comfort food." Specials include: $3 pints, any beer on tap! $4 well drinks Special green "touchdown shots" $3 valet parking Dillon's Irish Pub game watch contact: Rob Menz / robmenz31@yahoo.com Location #3 - Westside Q's Sports Bar/Restaurant 11835 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, 90049 In order to accommodate NDCLA members living on the Westside or traveling from the Valley, we've added a 3rd location so you don't have to trek as far to watch the Irish play with your fellow fans. Q's is a great sports bar with the arguably best TV setups on the Westside. Q's has promised to give the Notre Dame Club a designated viewing area and their happy hour pricing for Notre Dame fans during all games: $3 Drafts $4 Drinks $10 Pitchers Q's is on the north side of Wilshire Blvd. between the major cross streets of Barrington and Bundy. For people coming via the 405, the best exit to use is Wilshire West. Street parking is available and on select days there will be a valet. We're looking forward to having a great crowd!
